| Will I be able
to access my domain name with or without
the WWW? |
Yes, you
will be able to access the domain name with or
without the WWW in front. For example, you can
access the domain name "yourdomain.com"
by going to "www.yourdomain.com" as
well as "yourdomain.com".
| Can I check
domain name availability? |
Yes. You
can check domain
availability directly from our web
site.
| Does Nihil
Ultra handle domain registration? |
Nihil Ultra will register
new domain names with InterNIC for you.
InterNIC will bill you directly for this
service. We do not charge for registration
and we register it in your domain name. If
you have an existing domain we will fill out and
send you a modify domain name template/email to
forward it to Internic Hostmaster at hostmaster@internic.net. Make sure your
administrative contact for your domain name
replies to the email. Without this reply Internic
will not transfer the domain name.
| Can I transfer
an existing domain name to Nihil Ultra? |
Yes.
When you are ordering for our service, be sure to
choose the one with domain name transfer. You
should keep the service at the present site while
waiting for Internic to complete the transfer.
| How long does
it take before my domain name is active? |
Once the
InterNIC announces that your domain name has been
registered (or transferred, if applicable), it
usually takes about 72-hours before it is active.
| What is the
InterNIC fee for domain registration ? |
The
InterNIC charges $70.00 to register a new domain
name. This fee covers the first two years. They
currently bill at a rate of $35 per year. The
InterNIC will send you an invoice via email
between 3 weeks to six weeks after the domain is
registered.
| Does Nihil
Ultra limit the number of hits I can
receive each month? |
No. Our
experience has shown that about 400 MB/month is
more than enough data transfer for most of the
websites.
| How do I
transfer files to my web site? |
Files
must be transferred to the web server via File
Transport Protocol (FTP). If you have a PPP
internet account and need FTP software, you can
download a program for either the PC or Mac from
our site. Internet providers such as AOL,
Compuserve, and Prodigy may have a built-in FTP
interface. Go to Selfhelp for more
informations.
Nihil
Ultra offers unlimited FTP access.
| Will I have
unlimited access to update my pages ? |
You have
unlimited access via FTP 24-hours a day. As such,
you can create and maintain your web pages on
your own computer and upload files to your web
site at your convenience.
| Can I use my
account for commercial purposes ? |
Yes, you
can use your account for commercial purposes. The
World Wide Web has become a most efficient and
cost-effective means of making information,
products and services available to the users of
the internet community.
| Do you offer
technical support to customers ? |
Yes. We
encourage our customers to send email to techsup@nihilultra.com with questions
or concerns about their web site. We are
relatively quick to respond to support email
around the clock.
| How long does
it take to set up a new account ? |
Orders
for servers will be configured within 24 hours,
and most times will be done the same day. Once an
account is set up an activation notice will be
sent you via email including a userid, password,
and FTP hostname. You can begin uploading files
to your new web site immediately.
| How do I place
an order ? |
You can
place an order directly from our web site 24
hours a day. If you have presales questions
please contact presale@nihilultra.com.
| What type of
encryption algorithm do I use for
PGP(tm)? |
Nihil Ultra supports RSA
encryption PGP version 5.0. You should visit PGP(tm)FAQ page for more
informations. We do not currently support
DSS/Diffie-Hellman encryption keys. For more

| How do
I get started with the Ecommerce
Solution? |
First you
will have to get an E-commerce account
from Nihil Ultra. For more information
visit Hosting. Then if
you want real time credit card processing
then apply for an internet merchant
account from 1st
Commerce.

| How much is the
application fee through 1stCommerce for
an Internet Merchant Account? |
| $150.00.

| If I have my
own merchant account will it work with
Nihil Ultra's Gateway? |
| No,
only a 1st Commerce merchant account will
work with Nihil Ultra's Gateway. |
| What is the
minimum amount the internet merchant
account will cost each month? |
| $35.00. If
you have no sales during a month, you pay
a $25.00 Minimum Transaction Charge and a
$10.00 Monthly Customer Service Fee. If
you make 20 sales with a total of
$2000.00 during the month , you will pay
$61.00.
Example:
20 sales x 100.00 per sale = 2000.00 x
2.25% + .30 per transactionX 20= 45+ 6=
51.00. The total cost for this month's
sales would be $61.00 ( 51.00 Transaction
Charge + 10.00 Monthly Customer Service
Fee = $61.00)

| Can retailers
not process an order if they think the
order is invalid? |
| If you are using
UltraShop without the transaction server
and gateway, the following applies. When
the orders come into the retailer's
mailbox, the retailer views the order and
makes a decision whether to process or
delete the order. If you are using the
transaction server and gateway, the order
is passed through the gateway for
authorization and the capture and
transfer of funds to your merchant
account. There is extensive fraud
protection built in to the transaction
server and gateway. |
| When my
customers go to the checkout what happens
to their order from there? |
| Case
A: When they go to the check out
for UltraShop and you are using our
E-commerce Basic Plan i.e. Plan-B, their
order will be transferred to the Nihil
Ultra's secure server. Once there,
the customer will input their billing
information. You will receive PGP
encrypted billing information to your
email address. Once you receive those
informations, you need to decrypt those
information using your PGP
password/passphrase for further
processing. Case B:
When they go to the check out for
UltraShop with real time credit card
processing i.e. Plan-C, their order will
be transferred to the 1st Commerce secure
server. Once there, the customer
will input their billing information for
processing, verification and payment.

| Does Ultrashop
allow for sales tax? |
| It
does. Your shop can be configured to
automatically add sales tax to orders
placed from a given state. Please select
the state where you wish to charge sales
tax, and the enter current tax
rate. You may select no tax by
leaving the state blank or by setting the
tax rate to zero. You may also specify
individual items in your inventory that
are not subject to sales tax. |
| What if I have
problems with my email program and
encrypted messages? |
| Go

| What is the
Nihil Ultra's Ecommerce Solution? |
| Nihil
Ultra's E-commerce-Basic
includes webhosting with your domain name
as well as Ushop Web
Store . It Creates
product catalogs, organizes the layout of
the site, tracks inventory, calculates
transactions, creates invoices, generates
sales statistics, and much more.
Comparable packages cost $100s or even
$1000s of dollars for a single store
license. Automates your store management
so you can manage your business. You can
use Ultrashop as a standalone application
with your server. It gives the options to
your customer using our secure server to
pay online (credit card, online check) or
offline ( they can print the order form
and mail it to you along with the
payment). You will
get the PGP encrypted orders along with
the credit card informations from your
store to your email address, you need to
decrypt the PGP encrypted email using
your PGP private key. PGP is a very
powerful and user friendly encryption
software which you need to download to

usually takes about few seconds to
decrypt an order.
In this case the
credit card processing is not real time
and you need to take care of the
processing of the credit card with the
banks.
The
Nihil Ultra's Ecommerce-Ultra
comes with the web hosting with your
domain name, Ushop web store and real
time credit card processing solution.
Solution coordinates the transfer of
funds between a customer's bank, a
payment processing service, and your
bank. If the transaction is
approved, funds usually are transferred
to your bank account (merchant) within 36
to 72 hours.

| Ultra
Shop is a shopping
cart/webstore/catalogue builder
that turns your web site into a web store
with full electronic commerce capability. It does
not need any programming on your part.
You can build up the stores with hundreds
of items just by filling up the online
forms providing all the information about

| No.
Nihil Ultra will apply for new domain
name for the customer but the customer
needs to pay for it separately. You can
pay Internic online. Go to http://rs.internic.net/pay . For
domain name transfer, Nihil Ultra will
apply for your domain name transfer but
make sure the administrative contact for
your domain name needs to
"acknowledge" the domain name
transfer email that Internic will send to
him/her.
Check who
is the administrative contact for the
domain name you want to transfer. Just
type in your domain name and click Check
name, it will show you the detail
information about your domain name.
